WVT offers this two-way console to help you quickly connect with help in cases of emergency.
How the Personal Response System works:
-- A two-way console unit connects to your existing phone line.
-- A personal activator stays with you, worn around your neck.
-- When you need assistance, press the activator button. The console unit automatically dials the toll-free number and opens a two-way voice conversation between you and the operator at American Medical Alert Corp.
-- When your signal is received, your personal and medical information; list of responders including family, friends and emergency personnel; and the response directives you want are displayed on the response center’s computer.
-- Even if you are unable to speak, the operator knows who you are, where you live and who to contact.
